About

As you would expect from the URL, my name is Barry Cooper. This site attempts to encapsulate things that have happened, and continue to happen in my life. Not necessarily in chronological order.

‘I apologise for the inconvenience’ paraphrases a quote from the book “Mostly Harmless” by Douglas Adams.

Stuff that might get covered here may include music, musical instruments, modern technology, ancient computers, history, literature, the great outdoors, photography, animals, humans, and possibly cars. Whilst I will try to avoid talking about my work, it’s possible that it might leech its way into this stream of consciousness.

We apologise for the inconvenience was Douglas Adams’ jibe at creationism; it is Gods final message to his creation, essentially to say ‘sorry for the apparent meaningless of it all’. What this says to me is to just get on and do stuff, and don’t waste too much of your time between birth and death watching crap television. It doesn’t matter what you get up to, it’ll not make any difference in the long run, so just try to enjoy it while you can.
